Notification of Transactions of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMRs) and Connected Persons

The Legal & General Group 2009 Employee Share Plan, The Legal & General Group 2010 Share Bonus Plan (SBP) and the Legal & General Group 2009 Company Share Option Plan (CSOP) - Award of Group Performance Shares, Grant of Share Options and Restricted Shares

On 15 April 2014, Legal & General Group Plc (the Company) received notification that on that date each of the Directors and PDMRs named below were awarded 280 free ordinary shares of 2.5p each under the Legal & General Group 2009 Employee Share Plan. The purchase price was 211.4 pence per share and the shares awarded are subject to a minimum holding period of three years.

On 15 April 2014 the Company also received notification that options and restricted shares had been granted on that date under the terms of the SBP and CSOP plans, at an award price of 211.5p per ordinary share in respect of the Directors and PDMRs named below. The restricted period in respect of the SBP awards will end on 15 April 2017.
