We have today been advised by Morgan Stanley (the ISA Manager) that, in
accordance with the terms of the Plan, 5,403 Ordinary shares of 2.5p each in the
Company have been purchased on behalf of Sir David Walker, Vice Chairman and
non-executive director of Legal & General Group Plc, at a price of 158.9641p per
share.
