The Company has been informed by HSBC that they have today purchased 6,090
shares at a price of 113p on behalf of Mr Bernard Asher, a non-executive
director of the Company and 6,090 shares at a price of 113p on behalf of Mrs
Asher, his wife.

Following this transaction, Mr Asher's beneficial shareholding in the Company,
including those of his wife, stands at 32,304.
