Legal & General Group Plc (the "Company") announces that Mike Fairey will be retiring from the Board following the conclusion of the AGM on 21 May 2014 having served on the Board for three years.

BIOGRAPHY

Mike was appointed to the Board in May 2011. He is Chairman of APR Energy Plc and was formerly Deputy Group Chief Executive of Lloyds TSB Group Plc.
