Legal & General Group Plc will today hold a presentation for investors and
analysts on the strategy and performance of its investment management
subsidiary, Legal & General Investment Management Limited (LGIM).

The presentation will address the scale and success of LGIM's business and its
prospects for future growth. The presentation will focus particularly on the
growth and performance of its fixed interest business and on LGIM's
profitability. The presentation includes LGIM's new investment management
business for the three months to 30 September 2003 of £4.1bn (2002 £3.0bn).
