Result of Special General Meeting and
Update re Proposed Acquisition of White Rivers Exploration (Pty) Ltd
Lexington Gold (AIM: LEX), the gold exploration and development company with projects in North and South Carolina, USA, is pleased to announce that the resolutions proposed at its Special General Meeting ("SGM"), held earlier today, as set out in the notice of meeting dated 2 June 2023, were all duly approved by shareholders.
The SGM resolutions included approval of the Company's proposed conditional acquisition of 76 per cent. of White Rivers Exploration Proprietary Limited ("WRE"), an exploration and development company with significant gold assets in South Africa (the "Proposed WRE Transaction"), details of which were announced on 15 May 2023. A further announcement(s) will be made in due course regarding the Proposed WRE Transaction.
