Admission to the Official List
The Board of The Lindsell Train Investment Trust PLC (the 'Company') announces
today that gross proceeds in excess of £20,000,000 have been received pursuant
to a placing of 200,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the
Company at a price of £100 per share. Total expenses relating to the placing
will not exceed 1.2% of the gross placing proceeds. Dealings in the new
ordinary shares commenced on 22 January 2001 and certificates and balance
cheques are expected to be despatched by 31 January 2001.
The Board of the Company announces that it has appointed Cazenove & Co. as the
Company's corporate broker.
