THE LINDSELL TRAIN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

The Lindsell Train Investment Trust plc ('Company') announces that, following the conclusion of a formal tender process led by the Company's Audit Committee, the Board of the Company has appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the Company's auditor for the financial year ending 31 March 2018.  This appointment, which resulted from the resignation of Grant Thornton LLP due to a potential conflict of interest, remains subject to approval by shareholders of the Company at the Annual General Meeting to be held in August 2018.  The Board wish to thank Grant Thornton LLP for their service to the Company since its inception.
