THE LINDSELL TRAIN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC ('Company')

Listing Rule 15.5.1(4) - Transactions in a Close Period

In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1(4), the Company hereby confirms that all inside information known to the Directors and Company up to the date of this announcement has been notified to a Regulated Information Service ('RIS'). Accordingly the Company takes relief from the provisions of the Model Code in respect of dealings by Directors, persons discharging managerial responsibilities, and dealings in its own securities during the close period which commences today.

The Company further confirms that should any of the Directors or the Company come into possession of any unpublished inside information, no such dealings shall be undertaken unless and until that inside information has been notified to a RIS.
