Directorate Changes

The Lindsell Train Investment Trust plc ('Company') is pleased to announce the appointment of Rory Landman as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from today.

Mr Landman is the Senior Bursar of Trinity College, Cambridge, and was previously a senior director and the head of global emerging markets at Baring Asset Management.  He was a founding partner of the emerging market equities team at Thames River Capital, and is a director of The Eastern European Trust plc.

The Company confirms that there are no other matters requiring to be disclosed under UKLA Listing Rule 9.6.13R.

Donald Adamson, who took over as Chairman of the Company following the retirement from the Board of Rhoderick Swire at the close of the Annual General Meeting today, said he was delighted that Rory had agreed to join the Board and was very much looking forward to working with him. 

Mr Adamson also wished to express his appreciation for the leadership and significant contribution to the success of the Company which Mr Swire had made since inception in 2002, and to wish him well in his retirement.
