Pursuant to the above-named Company's Savings-Related Share Option Scheme
options over 30,037 Ordinary Shares of 1p each have been exercised. Accordingly,
application has been made to The UK Listing Authority for these shares to be
admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for these shares
to be admitted to trading. The Shares rank pari passu with the existing issued
shares of the Company.


Two Directors are included in those exercising options above, namely Jeremy
David Lang and William Thomas Pattisson, who have this day, 3rd February 2003,
each been allotted 6,258 at the option price of 154.8p increasing their
interests in the issued share capital of the Company to 45,510 each (0.14%).
