Liontrust Asset Management PLC: Funds under management
exceed £1 billion

Funds under management at close of business on Friday 3
December 1999 at Liontrust Asset Management PLC
('Liontrust') amounted to £1.026 billion as a result of new
business and the rise in the UK stock market.  This is an
increase of 19 per cent. from the £862 million announced at
the time of Liontrust's interim results on 26 October 1999
and of 55 per cent. from the £661 million at the time of
flotation in July 1999.
