Liontrust Asset Management PLC - Directorate

Following the completion of the secondary placing in which Pacific Investments
PLC ('Pacific') and parties connected to Pacific or its directors reduced
their aggregate interest in the share capital of Liontrust Asset Management
PLC ('Liontrust') from approximately 39.7 per cent. to 15.0 per cent., Mark
Johnson, Pacific Managing Director and the Pacific representative on the
Liontrust Board, has resigned as a non-executive director of Liontrust with
immediate effect. The Board of Liontrust would like to thank Mark for his
contribution to the development of Liontrust.
