Result of General Meeting

Liontrust Asset Management Plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that at the general meeting held at 10 a.m. today all five resolutions, including the resolution to approve the proposed acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Walker Crips Asset Managers Limited (the "Proposed Acquisition"), contained in the notice and put to the meeting were duly passed on a show of hands. The percentage of proxy votes cast in favour of the resolutions ranged from 98.93% to 95.38%. A summary of the proxy votes received in advance of the meeting is as follows:

The Proposed Acquisition remains conditional on the consent of the FSA to the change in control occasioned by the Proposed Acquisition having been obtained, which the Company expects to receive later this month. A further announcement in this regard will be made in due course.

In accordance with LR9.6.2R the full text of the resolutions has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will soon be available for inspection at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.
