                         Liontrust Asset Management PLC

                               New business wins

As at 6 September 2002, funds under management by Liontrust stood at £1.97
billion, with a further £750 million funds in transition. This compares with the
figures announced in the Company's AGM statement of funds under management of
£1.916 billion as at 4th July 2002, with a further £379.5 million funds in
transition at that date.
