PARALLEL MEDIA GROUP PLC MAKES TWO KEY BOARD APPOINTMENTS
The Board of Parallel Media Group plc, a major international golf and executive
sports rights and marketing business, is pleased to announce the appointment of
Gerald Ernest Andrews FCCA as Group Finance Director. His appointment is with
effect from the end of April 2003. The Board is also pleased to announce the
appointment of Graham Axford as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Gerald Andrews FCCA
Mr Andrews, 46, has recently resigned from his position as Group Finance and
Resources Director at the NEC Group ('NEC') in order to accept the role of
Finance Director with Parallel Media. At NEC he had responsibility for the
group's finance and IT functions as well as the main service businesses
including catering and group operational services. He was instrumental in the
restructuring of the group in 1998 and in its subsequent strategy development
and implementation. Prior to joining NEC, his experience included positions as
Finance and Business Systems Director of Unipart Group Outlets Division,
Associate Director of Finance to the Riyadh Military Hospital and as a senior
consultant at Coopers & Lybrand Associates.
Graham Axford
Graham Axford, 57, is Chief Executive of Corporate Finance Partners Limited, a
regulated specialist corporate finance advisory firm. His professional
experience includes positions as Managing Director, Corporate Finance at James
Capel & Co (now HSBC Investment Bank) and Head of UK Corporate Finance, Credit
Lyonnais Laing. He has served on the boards of several companies in a variety of
industries including aviation, brewing, PR, property and housing;

Mr Axford replaces Jonathan Crisp as a Non Executive Director on the Board of
the Company. Mr Crisp resigned from his position on 31 January 2003.
Mr Axford holds 171,333 ordinary shares in Parallel Media, representing 0.77 per
cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
