LLOYDS TSB BOARD
Dr. DeAnne Julius, until recently a member of the Bank of England Monetary
Policy Committee and Chairman of the Banking Services Consumer Codes Review
Group, has been appointed a non-executive director of Lloyds TSB Group.
She will join the board on 1st October, 2001.
Lloyds TSB Group Chairman, Maarten van den Bergh, said 'Dr. Julius has a
unique background in banking, financial services and economics. She will bring
to the board not only her commercial and economic wisdom but her experience of
examining banking from the customers' point of view. This will be invaluable
as we continue to get closer to our customers and better understand their
needs.'
