Lloyds TSB Group PLC 14 November 2001 118/01 14 November 2001 LLOYDS TSB GROUP BOARD Gavin Gemmell, CBE, will succeed Lawrence Urquhart as chairman of Scottish Widows Group, following the Lloyds TSB Group plc annual general meeting in 2002. On the same day, he will join the board of Lloyds TSB Group as a non-executive director and Mr. Urquhart will retire. Mr. Gemmell (aged 60) is currently deputy chairman of Scottish Widows Group and a former senior partner of Baillie Gifford & Co.
