CHANGES TO THE LLOYDS TSB GROUP BOARD
Dennis Holt has been appointed a director from 1 February 2000 and will take
up the position of Group Executive Director, Retail Distribution, to succeed
Gordon Pell, who is leaving to assume the position of Chief Executive, UK
Banking, at NatWest.
Currently Managing Director, Lloyds TSB Insurance, Dennis Holt has held a
number of key positions within the Group and brings a wealth of valuable
experience. Prior to managing the Group's Insurance business, Mr Holt was
Managing Director of Sales and Marketing in the Retail Bank and General
Manager of Personal Banking. In his new role, Mr Holt will be responsible for
all distribution channels including e-commerce.
Peter Ellwood, Chief Executive of the Lloyds TSB Group, said:

Distribution. With his considerable experience and expertise he is ideally
