Lloyds TSB Quest Limited, as trustee of the Lloyds TSB qualifying employee share
ownership trust, was yesterday allotted 8,874,172 shares in Lloyds TSB Group plc
at 755p per share.

The following directors, together with some 73,000 other employees, are
potential beneficiaries of the trust and are therefore to be treated as
interested in the remaining 11,226,295 shares held in it.
