London Stock Exchange Group plc announces that on 20 March 2012 David Lester, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, acquired London Stock Exchange Group plc Ordinary shares of 6 79/86p each by exercising options under the London Stock Exchange Executive Share Option Scheme.  He disposed of sufficient shares to satisfy the exercise cost, PAYE, National Insurance and dealing costs.  The options were granted on 15 July 2002 and would be forfeited if not exercised by 15 July 2012.
