STOCK EXCHANGE NOTICE

CONFIRMATION OF RULE AMENDMENTS

RULE AMENDMENT PACKAGE

1. Stock Exchange Notice N26/00 consulted on a number of amendments to
existing rules and guidance, as part of a periodic review of the Rules of the
London Stock Exchange.

2. The consultation process resulted in no changes to the proposed rules.  The
rules are effective from 3 July 2000.

3. The finalised rules are attached to this Notice and the updated pages for
insertion into rule books will be issued in due course.
