Lookers plc ('the Company')



The Company has applied for 200,404 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the
Company to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock
Exchange. Admission of these shares to the Official List and to trading on the
London Stock Exchange is expected to occur on 31 May 2007.

These shares have been issued to shareholders that have elected to take their
final dividend in the form of new shares.

A copy of the circular dated 26 April 2007 has been submitted to the UK Listing
Authority and is available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document
