Lookers plc ('Lookers' or 'the Company') announces that, further to its
announcement on 24 March 2006 regarding 90,230 ordinary shares allotted to
senior executives of the Company pursuant to the rules of the Lookers Key
Executive Incentive Performance Plan, application has been made to the UKLA and
the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to the Official List
and to trading.

Admission and commencement of dealings are expected to occur on 31 March 2006
