          ANALYST AND INVESTOR VISIT TO BOUCHER ROAD SITE, BELFAST

Lookers plc, a leading UK motor retailer, is today hosting an analyst and
investor trip to its Boucher Road multi-franchise retail park in Belfast. This
is the largest motor retail park in Europe covering over 18 acres and comprises
12 franchises which together account for one in five of all new cars sold in
Northern Ireland.  Lookers management will demonstrate how their experience of
large volume, market area retailing and 'Customers for Life' programmes are
delivering outperformance.

The Company recently announced its Interim Results on the 3 September. Trading
continues to be strong in line with the performance set out with these results.
