         Lookers plc completes Murray Motors Volvo, Scotland acquisition


Further to an announcement made on 1 August 2005, Lookers plc today announces
the completion of its acquisition of two depots of Murray Motors Volvo, in
Glasgow and Lanarkshire, Scotland from John Martin Group Ltd for a cash
consideration of approximately £1.2 million.
