Lookers plc - substantial shareholder



The Board of Lookers plc ('Lookers' or 'the Company') was notified on Friday 7
December 2007 that the family interests of Mr Tony Bramall have acquired a
further 500,000 Lookers ordinary shares of 5 pence each over Thursday 6th and
Friday 7th December.  The acquisition was at a price of 1.14 pence per share.



Mr Tony Bramall and his family interests are holders of 35,335,710 shares
representing 19.51% of the existing issued share capital of the Company. All
shares are voting shares.  One vote one share.
