Lookers plc - substantial shareholder



The Board of Lookers plc ('Lookers' or 'the Company') has been notified that the
family interests of Mr Tony Bramall have acquired a further 30,000 Lookers
ordinary shares of 5 pence each.  The acquisition on 21 December 2007 was at a
price of 104 pence per share.



Mr Tony Bramall and his family interests are holders of 35,365,710 shares
representing approximately 19.52% of the existing issued share capital of the
Company. All shares are voting shares.  One vote one share.
