Lookers plc - substantial shareholder

The Board of Lookers plc ('Lookers' or 'the Company') was notified on Tuesday 14 October 2008 that on Monday 13 October 2008 the family interests of Mr Tony Bramall acquired a further 662,623 Lookers ordinary shares of 5 pence each at 35.0 pence per share.

Mr Tony Bramall and his family interests are holders of 39,253,199 shares representing 21.61% of the existing issued share capital of the Company. The issued share capital of the Company at 15 October 2008 is 181,670,573 ordinary shares of 5 pence each.

All shares are voting shares. One vote one share.
