Lookers plc - substantial shareholder

The Board of Lookers plc ('Lookers' or 'the Company') was notified today, Monday 30 June 2008 that the family interests of Mr Tony Bramall have acquired a further 600,000 Lookers ordinary shares of 5 pence each on Friday 27 June 2008. The acquisitions were 500,000 shares at 68 pence per share and 100,000 shares at 70 pence per share.

Mr Tony Bramall and his family interests are holders of 38,193,576 shares representing 21.02% of the existing issued share capital of the Company. The issued share capital of the Company at 30 June 2008 is 181,670,573 ordinary shares of 5 pence each.  All shares are voting shares. One vote one share.
