Lookers plc (the Company) is pleased to announce that their Chief Executive, Mr
H K Surgenor has strengthened his family interests in Lookers shares by the
purchase of a further 40,000 Lookers ordinary 5 pence shares at £1.57 per share
on the 28 November 2006.  This is in addition to the take up of new shares under
the recent scrip dividend issue by the Directors of the Company, details of
which are set out below:-

The following Directors of the Company have been allotted new Lookers ordinary 5
pence shares as fully paid up shares in their own names or the names of
connected persons in lieu of the interim dividend for the six months ended 30
June 2006 under the terms of the scrip dividend offer made by the Company to
shareholders who appeared on the Register of Members as at 22 September 2006.
