Lookers plc, ("Lookers" or "the Group"), one of the leading UK motor retail and aftersales service groups, announces that, as part of its succession planning, Robin Gregson, Chief Financial Officer, will step down after 10 years in the role.

During his time at Lookers, Robin has played an important role in the development of the Group throughout a period of significant change both within the business and the industry. He has also made a substantial contribution to the Group's operational and strategic performance.

Lookers is pleased to announce that Mark Raban will be appointed as CFO and will join the Board on 15 July 2019. Mark has nearly 30 years of multi-channel retail experience and was most recently CFO at Marshall Motor Holdings PLC for four years, playing a significant role in the company's IPO and subsequent growth. His previous experience includes being Finance Director of Inchcape Retail Limited and he has also held senior finance roles with the Borders Group, Selfridges Retail Limited, Safeway and Burton. 

Robin has stepped down from the Board with immediate effect but will remain as CFO until 15 July 2019 and will stay with the Group until 30 September 2019 to ensure an effective transition.
