Directors Interests in Shares of Lookers plc
This is to advise you of the interests in shares held by the following directors
of the company.
Mark James Kass
---------------
Following an announcement by Lookers plc on 13th July that as a part of the
consideration payable on the acquisition of Mark Kass Limited - 478,527 new
Ordinary shares of the company's Ordinary share capital were to be issued to the
Vendors, namely Mark James Kass and Segar Karupiah, the company notifies you
that 349,324 new Ordinary shares with a nominal value of 25p each were issued in
favour of Mark James Kass. The cash equivalent value of these consideration
shares was 81.5p per share. All the shares are fully paid up and rank pari passu
with the existing Ordinary share capital of the company.
Brian Schumacker
----------------
The company has been advised that Mr Brian Schumacker, who was appointed a
Director of the company on 13th July, has a beneficial holding of 4,876 Lookers
Ordinary shares. These shares were acquired over a period of time, the last
purchase being on 25th September 1998 before Mr Schumacker became a Director of
the company and were acquired by open market purchase.
