Appointment of Andrew Stephenson as Group HR and Customer Director

Lookers plc ("Lookers" or the "Company") the leading UK motor retail and aftersales service group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Stephenson as its Group Human Resources ("HR") and Customer Director with immediate effect.

Reporting directly to CEO, Andy Bruce, the appointment marks the first strategic level leader of HR and Customer Experience at Lookers. Andrew will be responsible for talent acquisition and resource management in order to efficiently deliver an outstanding customer experience. His role will include the development of an employee programme, encompassing recruitment, remuneration and engagement.

Andrew joins Lookers from DFS Furniture Group plc, where he most recently held the role of Group HR and Property Director. He brings a wealth of experience in HR strategy, talent management and recruitment, employee engagement and corporate social responsibility having previously held positions at Vodafone, B&Q and Virgin Media. Andrew is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry.
