Lookers plc ('the Company'), have today been advised that as of today 8th
May 2003 Hamilton Finance Limited, a subsidiary of GE Capital Woodchester
have sold 1,422,526 of Lookers 25 pence nominal ordinary shares (which
represents 4.07% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital) and retain a
holding of 8,552,987 ordinary shares which represents 24.50% of the
Company's issued ordinary share capital.
