            RESULT OF GENERAL MEETING OF LOOKERS ('GENERAL MEETING')


The Board of Lookers is pleased to announce that at the General Meeting held
today, the Resolution as set out in the Circular dated 15 April 2008 containing
the notice of the General Meeting was passed.


Details of the proxy votes received in respect of the Resolution are set out
below:

Votes for/ discretionary                     97,056,754   99.3% of vote
Votes against                                    12,839   0.02% of vote
Votes withheld                                  665,725   0.68% of vote


A copy of the Resolution approved by shareholders at today's General Meeting
will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document
Viewing Facility, which is situated at The Financial Services Authority, 25 The
North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.
