                Appointment of Directors
                            
The Board is pleased to announce that Mr RGML Barclay and
Mr  JPD  Hancox  have  been  appointed  independent  non-
executive  directors  of  the Company  with  effect  from
today's date.  Consequent upon these appointments, Mr R W
Smith retires from the Board with immediate effect.

Pursuant  to  the disclosure requirements  of  paragraphs
6.F.2(a)  to  (g)  of  the Listing Rules,  the  following
