Dividend Resolution

The Board of Lowland Investment Company plc announces:

Dividend on the Ordinary Shares

That a first interim dividend of 8.0p per Ordinary Share of 25p, in respect of the year ending 30 September 2013, be paid on 30 April 2013 to holders registered at the close of business on 5 April 2013.  The Company's shares will trade ex-dividend on 3 April 2013.

Shareholders are reminded that the Company announced at the last half year that it was moving to paying four dividends a year. Last year it paid three dividends totalling 30.5p. The interims were effectively at the rate of 7.5p a quarter, and the final was 8.0p. This interim is therefore 6.67% above the quarterly rate of last year's interim dividends.
