           Result of Extraordinary General Meeting held on 9 May 2007


At the Extraordinary General Meeting held this morning, the ordinary resolution
put to the meeting was passed. The resolution approved the Proposals and gives
the Directors the authority to allot such New Shares as are necessary to
implement the Proposals, up to an aggregate nominal value of £2,750,000.


A further announcement will be made on 23 May 2007 setting out the number of New
Shares which will be issued to those holders of loan notes in Greene King
Acquisitions (No.3) Limited who elected, or where deemed to have elected, to
receive New Shares under the  Proposals.


Terms used in this announcement shall, unless the context requires otherwise,
bear the same meaning given to them in the Company's circular to shareholders
dated 13 April 2007.
