 Retirement of Non-Executive Director 

Lowland Investment Company plc announces that Dr Tracy Long has decided to step down from the Board of Lowland Investment Company plc due to the increasing time commitment from running her own business, Boardroom Review, and a new appointment as a board member of the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, and chairman of its audit committee, from 1 September 2009.

Dr Long joined the Board of Lowland Investment Company plc in 2004 and will retire on 31 December 2009.  John Hancox, Chairman of Lowland said, "We are very grateful to Tracy for her valuable contribution to the Board over the past five years. We shall miss her and wish her continued success."
