AGM Statement
7th June 2006
The Chairman of M&C Saatchi plc, Jeremy Sinclair, will make the following
statement at today's Annual General Meeting:
'We expect the year ahead to be one of progress across our businesses and remain
on track to meet expectations.
From a new business perspective, the year has continued positively with wins
including Kingsmill (Allied Bakeries), Direct Line Financial Services (RBS) and
Swiss One in the UK, Sydney Water, Pizza Hut and Aviva in Asia Pacific and AIG
in America.
Our new Paris office has continued its initial success with further wins
including Bordeaux Wine and 20 Minutes.
Our investment programme in new offices, through organic start ups or small
acquisitions and new business streams remains a key element of the company's
growth. I am pleased to announce that we have recently reached agreement with
partners which will allow us to open our second European office in German
shortly.
