M&G plc

Notification of transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMR)

M&G plc announces that on 2 October 2020, options were granted to the below PDMRs under the M&G plc November 2020 Sharesave Plan with an exercise price of £1.29. The options have a contract start date of 1 November 2020 and are exercisable from 1 November 2023 to 30 April 2023 for the three-year plan and from 1 November 2025 to 30 April 2025 for the five-year plan.

Each of the below PDMRs also elected to cancel their participation in the previous February 2020 Sharesave Plan, resulting in the lapse of the options granted to them on 13 December 2019 with an exercise price of £1.84. The options would have become exercisable on 1 February 2023 for the three-year plan and 1 February 2025 for the five-year plan.

The notification below, which has been made in accordance with the requirements of the Market Abuse Regulation, provides further detail.
