MR O D WILKINSON
Mr  O D Wilkinson, a director of the Company, has today exercised an option over
25,000  shares of 10 pence each (representing 0.05 per cent of the issued  share
capital  of  the Company) granted at 96.5 pence per share. These  25,000  shares
have been sold in the open market at 378 pence per share.

His interests in the issued share capital of the Company are now as follows:

Beneficial:  nil
Non-beneficial:  nil
Options:  159,476 shares of 10 pence each


ISSUED SHARE CAPITAL
The  revised issued and voting share capital following the aforementioned option
exercise is 51,690,758 shares of 10 pence each.
