MR O D WILKINSON
Mr O D Wilkinson, a director of the Company, has today exercised his option over
10,000  shares  of  10p each granted at 101.78p per share. These  10,000  shares
(representing  0.02 per cent of the issued share capital of  the  Company)  have
subsequently been sold at 327p per share.

Mr  Wilkinson's interests in the issued share capital of the Company are now  as
follows:

Beneficial:  nil
Non-beneficial:  nil
Options:  107,426 shares of 10p each


ISSUED SHARE CAPITAL
The  revised  issued  and  voting  share capital  following  the  aforementioned
exercise of the options is 52,242,385 shares of 10p each.
