Transaction in Own Shares

The Board of Macau Property Opportunities Fund Limited announces that on 8 July 2011, the Company purchased 300,000 of its own ordinary shares. The highest price paid was 137p per share and the lowest price paid was 135p per share. These shares will be cancelled.

The purchase represents 0.29% of the Company's total outstanding shares in issue. Following cancellation of the shares, the issued share capital of the Company will be 102,500,000 ordinary shares.

Further opportunistic purchases of MPO shares may be considered by the Board at suitably attractive prices.
