AGM Trading Statement
Prime People plc (AIM: PRP.L), the international real estate management,
property and built environment recruitment specialist, is holding its Annual
General Meeting today at 11a.m. Chairman, Robert Macdonald, will make the
following statement about current trading.
'2007 has started strongly, with net fee income in the first quarter
substantially ahead of the same period last year. This reflects good market
conditions and the thirty percent increase in consultant numbers achieved last
year. Across the Group consultant numbers are planned to increase by at least
the same percentage again this year with around half of these already hired.
'We are continuing to see strong demand both in the UK and internationally for
qualified professionals across the sectors that we serve. In particular, the
long term nature of major infrastructure projects and current investment and
development plans worldwide are providing us with a range of different
opportunities for the medium term growth of our business.
'We continue to explore opportunities to expand and strengthen our business
through attracting individuals, teams or businesses that operate in our existing
or related areas.
'Our international operations are making further good progress with sourcing and
placement on an international basis being a clear differentiator for the Group.
This is most notable in Dubai, where the demand for our candidates is
particularly strong.
'The ongoing strength of our markets, both in the UK and overseas, gives the
Board confidence that the Company will continue to make progress in the year
ahead.'
