Following the announcement made on 22 June 2005, the Directors of AEC Education
plc  announce that, as a result of being offered a significant increase in
remuneration by his present employers, Mr Christopher Hutchinson will not be
joining the Board as Chief Executive.

In the meantime the Chief Executive's duties will be performed by the Chairman
Liam Swords.
