Issue of consideration shares in respect of acquisition of a 50% interest in Ore Hill

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the admission to the Official List of 2,166,448 new ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents in Man Group plc and also to the London Stock Exchange for such shares to be admitted to trading. The application is being made in respect of shares to be issued as part consideration for the acquisition of a 50% stake in Ore Hill announced on 31 March 2008 which completed on Thursday 8 May 2008.  

These new ordinary shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the current issued ordinary shares of Man Group plc.
