On 1 August 2007, Mr Peter Clarke, Chief Executive, bought 25,000 ordinary
shares of 3 US cents in Man Group plc at a price of 537.8026 pence per share.
Following this transaction Mr Clarke is deemed to be interested in a total of
5,009,819 Man Group plc ordinary shares representing approximately 0.25% of the
Company's issued share capital.
