This notification relates to transactions to be notified in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a)

On 9th July 2009, the following share awards were made to directors of Man Group plc. 

Peter Clarke:

Performance Share Plan awards: 

1)    Main Award: 225,824 ordinary shares.  Earliest vesting date 9th July 2013.

2)    Matching Award: 1,464,802 ordinary shares. Earliest vesting date 9th July 2013.

Both Awards are subject to certain performance criteria set out in the Plan Rules.  

Man Group Unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme 2001:

Share options awarded: 478,941 ordinary shares, exercisable at a price of 239.25 pence per share between 9th July 2012 and 8th July 2019, subject to certain performance criteria set out in the Scheme Rules.  

Kevin Hayes:

Performance Share Plan awards: 

1)   Main Award: 152,584 ordinary shares.  Earliest vesting date 9th July 2013.

2)    Matching Share award: 732,401 ordinary shares. Earliest vesting date 9th July 2013.

Both Awards are subject to certain performance criteria set out in the Plan Rules.

Share options awarded: 323,609 ordinary shares, exercisable at a price of 239.25 pence per share between 9th July 2012 and 8th July 2019, subject to certain performance criteria set out in the Scheme Rules.
